Terms & Conditions

​

Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd have put these terms & conditions in place to make the process run as smoothly and fairly as possible. Please get in contact if you need anymore information regarding any of these terms & conditions.

 

  1. Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you wish to proceed with our estimate or quotation, without a written acceptance we will not be able to place a slot in our work schedule and any predicted timeframes could be extended.                                                      

  2. Estimates or quotations are valid for 4 weeks without an acceptance confirmation and will need to be revised thereafter. 

  3. Due to the nature of the work Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd carry out, we do not guarantee an exact amount of days the work will take, we will give you an approximate timeframe to the best of our ability.

  4. Any products supplied by the customer must conform with the final quotation/estimate & bathroom/kitchen plan. 

  5. Any pictures, ornaments or other items left where work is to commence, is done so at the customers own risk. 

  6. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd recommends that the customer checks all stopcocks & isolation valves are working correctly prior to work commencing. *If your stopcock/ isolation valves haven't been maintained correctly and start to drip/leak when turned off/on, these could need changing and incur extra fees*. 

  7. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd recommends that the customer checks the electrical consumer unit is inline with the current national electrical code, prior to work commencing.

  8. All products will be delivered to site on the first week of work commencing. 

  9. When installing a bathroom or kitchen, Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will require adequate storage space for the new products, while work proceeds 

  10. If any issues arise while we are working on your project, that you unsure on or unhappy with, please let us know at your earliest convenience, so we can rectify these issue without causing any delay. 

  11. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will remove all bathroom/kitchen sanitary wear, white goods, tiles etc, on the first day of the project commencing, unless different is agreed prior to the project commencing. 

  12. When working in properties with only one toilet, a toilet will be left in use at the end of each day, If a property has more than one toilet, Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will leave use of one toilet at all times, but will remove the toilet on the project they are working on for the duration of the project, unless agreed upon prior to the project commencing. 

  13. Any products supplied by the customer, that need additional fixtures/ fittings or sealants purchased for installation, could incur additional charges (Please ask if you are unsure). 

  14. Any changes made to the project, must be stated prior to work commencing. They must be agreed by both the customer and Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd and listed on a revised estimate. Changes made that are not stated on the final quotation/estimate or on the final bathroom/kitchen plan, will incur additional charges on your final invoice. 

  15. Missing/late products, that are supplied by the customer, could incur additional charges if extra time is needed to install them. 

  16. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will require adequate space to work in, for the full duration that we are on your project. If you are arranging other trades to carry out work at the same time that we are working on your project, we will need to be notified of this at your earliest convenience or this could incur extra charges if we are not able to work due to this.

  17. If a decorating allowance is listed on the estimate, this will be based on painting white walls, ceilings & woodwork (Dulux paint), unless stated and agreed-upon.  

  18. If the company is supplying wall sockets, switches or pull cords, these will be a white finish, unless stated and agreed upon, prior to work commencing. 

  19. If Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is replacing an existing extractor fan it will be priced on the basis your previous extractor fan is ventilated correctly and will be based on a like for like swap. *If your previous extractor fan is not ventilated correctly this will incur extra charges to rectify. 

  20. Disposal of kitchen appliances (electrical appliances) must be agreed upon prior to work commencing, or could incur additional charges per item for Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd to remove them. 

  21. When retro installing new pumps, showers, water storage tanks, taps, toilet flush valves, toilet inlet valves, water softeners, dishwashers or watching machines on to old pipework, Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is not responsible for the original plumbing.
    (If previous plumbing is incorrectly installed, this could effect your manufacturer warranty) Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd are happy to supply you with a quote to re-plumb inline with manufacturers warranty. Please ask for more information if you are unsure. 

  22. When retro installing onto old waste pipe connections, Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is not responsible for the original plumbing. 

  23. New pipework will be ran in PEX barrier pipe/plastic or copper pipe where necessary. If a certain material is required by the customer we will need to  be notified prior to work commencing. 

  24. Electrical inspections will be carried out by a third party and will be arranged once the final invoice has been paid in full. Electrical inspections will be completed within 3/4weeks of final payment unless agreed upon prior to work commencing. 

  25. Added extras or changes to the project, made once the project has started, that are not stated in the final quotation/estimate or on the final plan, could incur extra charges. 

  26. Special order/custom made products may need to be installed at a later date to completion of the main contracted work. 

  27. If special order/custom made products are to be install, but won’t be ready prior to the completion of the main contracted work, the installation cost will be deducted from the final invoice until completion.

 

 

 

 

Tile & Flooring Guidelines & Allowances

 

  1. Final tile and flooring choices must be stated and agreed-upon prior to the project starting or could incur extra charges if the tiles size, material and formation are outside of our allowances. 

  2. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd allowance to purchase tiles and flooring is £40 per SQM. If you select tiles or a flooring that cost more or less than our allowance, this will be adjusted on your final invoice. Please note: If the customer selects tiles that are outside of our size/material or formation allowance this will also be adjusted on our final invoice. (Please see size/material and formation allowance in section Tile Allowances Guidelines*)

  3. Tile Allowance Guidelines: Unless stated & agreed-upon, our estimate tiling allowances are based on standard ceramic wall tiles & porcelain floor tiles (Max size 600mm x 600mm - Minimum size 200mm x 200mm - No sealing/impregnating required). The allowance layout is based on horizontal, vertical or bricked tile formation. Porcelain wall tiles could incur extra charges.
    Please let us know at your earliest convenience which tiles you have chosen and what formation you would like them installed in.

  4. Flooring Allowance Guidelines: Unless stated & agreed-upon, our estimate flooring allowances are based on Porcelain floor tiles (Max size 600mm x 600mm - Minimum size 200mm x 200mm - No sealing/impregnating required), The allowance layout is based on horizontal, vertical or bricked tile formation. Or a bathroom suitable laminate/vinyl or vinyl click flooring in a horizontal, vertical or bricked tile formation. Please let us know at your earliest convenience which flooring you have chosen and what formation you would like it installed in.

  5. Outside of Allowances: Metro (100mm x 300mm or smaller), Mosaic, border/decor tiles, Herringbone (formation), Dimond (formation), Chevron (formation) Large format (Over 600mm x 600mm or over 600mm wide). Natural stone, Slate, Marble or any tiles that need sealing/impregnating these are priced per SQM. If you would like one of these styles please let us know at your earliest convenience so we can adjust the estimate inline with your choice.

  6. If the customer is supplying tiles for installation, Metro tiles (100mmx300mm or smaller), Mosaic, Border/decor tiles, Herringbone (formation), Dimond (formation), Chevron (formation), Large format (Over 600mm x 600mm or 600mm wide). Natural stone/Slate, Marble, or any tiles that need sealing/impregnating, these could have additional costs from our estimate allowance. Our tile allowance is based on (Please see Tile Allowances Guidelines*).  Please let us know at your earliest convenience which tile and style you are supplying, as these could incur extra charges if they are not within our guidelines and you have not informed us of your tile choice prior to work commencing.

  7. If the customer is suppling tiles that need sealing/impregnating you must provide Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd with all the relevant information regarding your tile choice prior to work commencing, or this could incur additional charges if extra time is needed to install the tiles. If the relevant information has not been passed over this could mean the tiles may not be installed correctly and will be at the customers own rick. 

  8. If the customer is supplying tile sealer/impregnator these must be ready onsite before tiling is to commence. 

  9. Tile trims will be white (plastic), chrome or brushed steel unless agreed upon prior to the project starting.

  10. Tile trims will be used on all external corners/edges unless agreed upon prior to the project starting.

  11. Preparation of walls is limited to making the original wall sound and ready for tiling. 

  12. Waterproof wall tanking is only allowed for in wet areas (shower/bath).

  13. Properties with plasterboard walls, where the plasterboard has to be removed along with the tiles, will incur additional charges. We will try to advise where possible beforehand. 

  14. If the customer is supplying flooring we need to be informed of which flooring you are supplying prior to work commencing.

  15. Preparation of flooring is limited to making the original base layer sound and ready for the new flooring. 

  16. If the customer is supplying flooring for a bathroom or kitchen, it must be suitable to be installed in a bathroom or kitchen. If the flooring supplied is not suitable, this will be at the customers own risk. 

  17. Any rotten joists, majorly damaged or extremely uneven base layer flooring, will incur additional costs if they need rectifying.  

 

If tile choices and tile layout are not stated on the plan, estimate/quotation, this could incur additional charges if they are not inline with our allowances. Please ask for more information if you are unsure. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Guarantee/Warranties

 

  1. Products that are not supplied by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd, are not under guarantee/warranty by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd. 

  2. Products not listed on the quotation/estimate, may not be under guarantee by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd. 

  3. Any work carried out by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd, that is not listed on a quotation/estimate, may not be under guarantee by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd. 

  4. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd’s guarantee period on workmanship is limited to one year from completion date or date stated on the final invoice. 

  5. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd’s guarantee period on products, is limited to one year from completion date or date stated on the final invoice. Any faults after this period will be chargeable if Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is required to replace/fix them. 

  6. Extended product warranties must be registered by the customer.

  7. Any damaged products must be reported/brought to our attention with 14 days of completion or may not be covered by guarantee/warranties. 

  8. Guarantees/warranties will be void, if products have been misused, poorly maintained or if someone outside of Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd adjusts/tampers with them. 

  9. Any products that are supplied by the customer that have manufacturing faults or defects that need to be fixed/replaced by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will be chargeable.

 

 

 

 

Installation Only Service

 

  1. When Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is employed on an installation only basis, all products that are due to be install must itemised or referenced & confirmed in an estimate or quotation between Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd and you the customer, prior to work commencing. Any products or changes to the agreed work that are not listed on an estimate or quotation could incur extra fees and will be adjusted on the final invoice if required.

  2. All products must be onsite and checked over by you, prior to our installation service commencing. 

  3. If any products are found to be damaged or faulty when Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd come to install them because the products have not been fully checked by you, this could incur charges if extra time is required to install them.

  4. Any faulty or missing products supplied by the customer will need to be followed up and replaced by you the customer/supplier.

  5. Any faulty or missing products supplied by the customer that need extra time or a return visit to fix/install will be charged at our hourly rate.

  6. When using our installation only service we will be working off your bathroom/kitchen plans/designs and product list. If there are any discrepancies or wrong specification measurements between the plan or products you’ve supplied and your bathroom/kitchen measurements, this will be between you and your supplier/designer to resolve. We will be happy to give you advice where possible, but we do not take any liability for any plan/product changes if required. If extra time is required to put these discrepancies right, this could incur extra charges and will be adjusted on the final invoice.

  7. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd do not take any liability for design, item/product specification or products faults if the customer is suppling the design and/or products. We are happy to give you advice where possible, but the final plan and products selection will be between you and your supplier/designer.

  8. Any future faults or issues with bathroom/kitchen products must be taken up directly with your supplier, we are happy to supply you with an estimate/quotation if we are required to replace/fix them.

  9. If Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd is employed to decorate and the customer is suppling paint, we must be notified prior to work commencing of what paint and how many different colours are to be used. If we are not notified and decoration is listed on our estimate this will be based on white walls and ceiling/woodwork, any changes will be adjusted on our final invoice.

  10. If the customer is suppling tiles, our estimate allowance for tiling walls/floor will be based off our tile allowance guidelines (Please see Tile Allowances Guidelines*) and the SQM area allowed for on our estimate. We must be notified of what tiles you are suppling prior to work commencing, If we are not notified and selected tiles are outside of our allowance guidelines, this will be adjusted on our final invoice.

 

 

 

Invoices/Billing

 

  1. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd call out/hourly charge is £60 + VAT per hour. 

  2. When installing or supply & installing a new full bathroom or kitchen, invoices will be sent in three (First deposit, second once work has commenced and third on completion). *Deposit invoice payments are due upon receipt - Deposits will be sent within 5 weeks of the project starting (Deposit Invoice - 1/3). Second invoice payments are due upon receipt - Second Invoices will be sent on the second day of the project commencing (Second invoice - 2/3) . Final invoices are due within 3 days of completion/date on final invoice, any adjustments will be made on the final invoice (Final invoice - 3/3). *If any special order products are to be installed at a later date (after final invoice is sent), the product and installation cost will be deducted from the final invoice until completion.

  3. When installing or supply and installing a full bathroom or kitchen, Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd may require a slot booking fee of £250.00 if the project is not due to start for more than 6 weeks. This fee will be deducted from your deposit. Slot booking fees are non-refundable. 

  4. Deposit Invoices will be sent within 5 weeks of your project starting. Deposit invoices are due upon receipt. Product orders may not be placed until the deposit invoice has been paid in full. If the deposit invoice is not paid in full, your project may get postponed or cancelled. 

  5. Once orders are placed for products and an approximate date has been set for starting the project, the deposit will be non-refundable due to re-handling fees. 

  6. Invoices submitted by Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd to the customer are due within 3 days. 

  7. Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd reserves the right to claim interest on outstanding invoices, if the invoice isn't paid within 5 days of receiving (Interest will at 8% over the bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment legislation. 

  8. An administration charge of £35 + VAT will apply per late payment reminder letter/email (up to two late payment letters/emails will be sent before further action is required). 

  9. You the customer will be liable for all extra company time, fees & legal fees, if payment still is not made after late payment reminder letter is sent. Any extra time spent claiming monies owed to the Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd will be noted and charged at £60 per hour + VAT. 

  10. We accept Credit or Debit card payments via a card machine, there will be a 1.7% card fee per transaction. 

  11. Deductions from invoices can only be made, if they are agreed upon by both Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd and you the customer. Any deductions made without agreement of both parties will incur administration charges and interest fees. 

  12. All products & materials remain property of Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd until final payment is received in full. 

  13. All warranties/guarantees are invalid, if the final invoice isn't paid in full.

  14. If any refunds are required they will need to be agreed by both parties. 

  15. Quotations/estimates are excluding VAT, unless it is stated on the estimate/quotation that VAT is included.  

You will be subjected to any changes in our terms and conditions

Due to the nature of the work Marc Anthony Bathrooms Ltd carry out, we do not guarantee exact start/finish dates we will give you an approximate timeframe to the best of our ability. 

 

By accepting our quotation/estimate or paying a deposit, you accept and agree to be bound by the term and provision of this agreement.
In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rule applicable to such services. Any participation in this service
will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
